$18,200 is a Damn Good Donation.
The contributions poured in and much to the delight of 100 Men NL founders, they were provided the great honor to present Choices for Youth with a cheque for $18,200 on behalf of the 139 members of 100 Men NL. Among that total was the notably kind and generous donation of $5,000 from The Construction Labour Relations Association of Newfoundland and Labrador Inc.
Choices for Youth intends to allocate the funds toward their Momma Moments program, empowering; “young-pregnant and parenting women to effectively care for their children and improve their healthy living skills.”
The 100 Men NL founders are confident that such a healthy contribution will be a productive boost to the organization during the holiday season. Cofounder, John Atkin’s (of JAC) confirms; “It was a great honour to present Choices for Youth with a significant donation today. To see how the people they help, benefit from such an organization, makes it all worth while.”
With growing membership, the 100 Men founders are enthusiastic about what the future holds for an organization like this one.
