Mike Wahl is co-owner and director of Definitions whose wellness and safety programs are utilized internationally by major organizations employing office and industrial populations. He is a PhD candidate in the faculty of medicine at Memorial University in the field of epidemiology studying obesity and it’s affects on long term health. He holds a masters degree in applied exercise physiology from MUN and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology science from UNB as well as various other professional certifications. He has presented in Internationally at various industry conferences and represented Canada at the G20 Summit in Nice France in 2011 as a delegate speaking on entrepreneurship. Mike has worked in television as the Host of “Power Living” and co-host of “Define Yourself” as well as hosts safety segments for the “Energy Show” on NTV.
Mike was also named the BDC Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Newfoundland in 2005, a top 3 finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Atlantic Canada in 2007, and most recently won the ACE Student Entrepreneur for Canada and the Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.
